View from Mount Akkanålke. Standing there looking at this is wonderful beyond words!

I’m trying to use my 80-200 lens more, to get used to it. I don’t like it, but I don’t quite know why.
I took these pictures with it this afternoon, at mount Vittjåkk, 8 km west of Arvidsjaur.

I went for a short walk, just to get some fresh air. It’s lovely here today, sunny and only -4C (25F I think).
The camera I used on this walk is a Kodak EasyShare C613, a cheap, cheap little thing I bought at a grocery store once. I think it works rather well and it’s perfect to have in your pocket when you just don’t feel like carrying “the big camera”.

All the snow and ice on mount Akkanålke makes the trees look like strange creatures,
ready to attack as soon as you turn your back to them.

Someone’s watching you…

This is the view from my apartment.

And this is part of my job.
Yep.
Life’s good.

Yes, I’m alive.
I’m down south visiting family and friends for a couple of weeks and have been busy busy catching up on everything and everyone.
Lots and lots of snow here too, and lots of ice as you can see. This is the view from the bedroom window.
Three more very busy days and then I return to my beloved Arvidsjaur again. I love being down here, being surrounded by family and friends, but oh how I miss Arvidsjaur!
