I’m back! Well, I’ve been here all along, but life got sort of scrambled for a while
and there was little or no energy to keep up with this blog. Or to even take pictures.

Life is still a bit scrambled and misery sneaks around everywhere it seems, but I refuse to let it take over.

A whole new year, and a new lens, too. A Canon EF 35/2,0.

Today I’ve been to Akkanålke, a mountain not far from Arvidsjaur. One of my absolut favorite places. No matter what time of day or what season, it is always breathtakingly beautiful.

Reindeer bucks “fighting” in the Stekenjokk mountain area in Jämtland/Lappland, Sweden. September 2010.

For the theme “Animals” from

The blue September sky reflected in the window of a building in the old mining village of Pershyttan in Bergslagen, where ore was mined and turned into iron from the 1300’s until 1953.

(Sadly I didn’t notice at the time I took the photo that I cut the upper egde of the window off. Oh well.)
