Steam train ride, Arvidsjaur-Slagnäs
Yesterday I went on a train ride, an old steam train, from Arvidsjaur to Slagnäs and back. Fun! You can read more info about the train, costs etc here.
The trip took about 4 1/2 hours and I enjoyed every minute of it. It included a short break in Slagnäs while they moved the locomotive from one end of the train to the other and then another, longer, break at a beach at lake Storavan where you could have a swim, bbq some sausage and just generally feel good. It was a fantastic evening!
What fun! We did something similar to this in Colorado, USA. We took a ride on the Durango/Silverton steam train. It was so much fun. Glad you enjoyed your trip.
