Yes, I’m alive. 
I’m down south visiting family and friends for a couple of weeks and have been busy busy catching up on everything and everyone.
Lots and lots of snow here too, and lots of ice as you can see. This is the view from the bedroom window.
Three more very busy days and then I return to my beloved Arvidsjaur again. I love being down here, being surrounded by family and friends, but oh how I miss Arvidsjaur!

Gallejaur, Lapland. A tiny village with beautiful old houses, some of them from the 1860’s. The village is both a nature and culture reserve.

Today it’s been really warm here in Arvidsjaur, +2C (36F). Just a couple of days ago it was -32C (-26F)!
I’m sorry I’ve been so bad at visiting you all – I’m just so busy with work and with my studies in Sami and Japanese. Not a whole lot of free time at the moment. I’m really hoping for a chance to get out and get some fresh photos soon, I need to look at something that doesn’t have a screen and a keyboard!
